Judi Davis

Judi Ann (Kassube) Davis, 54, of Truman, passed away peacefully at her home on May 8, 2023, surrounded by her loving family. She was a beloved wife, mother, sister and friend to many.

Judi was born May 24, 1968, in Fairmont to John and Elfrieda (Zinke) Kassube. She was baptized and confirmed at Antrim Church. She attended and graduated from Truman High School in 1986 and later earned a degree in accounting at South Central College in North Mankato. She went on to work at Peachtree Development for many years, before starting at Truman Public Utilities, then finally with Minnesota State University-Mankato. On June 15, 1991, she was united in marriage to Doyle Davis at Antrim Church.

In her free time, Judi enjoyed riding motorcycle, gardening, fishing, camping, playing cards, golfing and spending time with family and friends. Judi was a former member of the Fairmont Women of Today. She often talked about the friends she had made and the events she was a part of.

She is preceded in death by her maternal and paternal grandparents; parents, John and Elfrieda Kassube; two sisters; nephew, Scott Smith, brothers-in-law, Craig Davis and Mark Blanchard; and other family members.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband Doyle Davis; daughter, Kris (Matt) Garrels; sons, Derek and Brett Davis; sister, Jody (Larry) Smith; brother, Brian Kassube; mother-in-law, Marlene Davis; in-laws, Terry (Sharon) Davis, Rick (Terresa) Davis, Merle (Bonnie) Davis, Brent (Christy) Davis, Jay (Lisa) Davis, Lynn (Mark) Blanchard, Laura Pietsch Davis and Lori Davis; and many nieces, nephews, other friends and family.

Judi will be remembered for her kindness, generosity and unwavering devotion to her family and friends. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
