I. Call to Order:

Roll Call: Present — Mike Pfeil, Kenna Krahmer, Maria Haler, James Farnum and Jeff Nauman Absent — Paula Heckman

Staff present: Lisa Shellum, Shelby Wiederhoeft, and Eva Sonnabend.

II. Approval of Agenda:

Motioned by ______ and seconded by ______ to approve/amend the February 20, 2024 Board Agenda. Motion passed on a 5-0 vote.

III. Approval of Prior Meeting Minutes:

Motioned by ______ and seconded by ______ to approve the January 16, 2024 regular minutes, February 7, 2024 Special meeting minutes, and January 16, 2024 reorganizational meeting minutes. Motion passed on a 5-0 vote.

IV. Presentation of Bills/Finance (consent agenda)

Motioned by ______ and seconded by ______ to approve the February 2024 bills as presented in check register and wire transfer information. Motion passed on a 5-0 vote.

V. Committees:

A. Buildings and Grounds - damage update for lower elementary - steam trap issue and replacement, loading dock and entrance doors, cameras, SiteLogic update, and water main break update.

B. Negotiations Committee update.

VII. Action Items

A. Retirement

A motion was offered by Nauman, seconded by Farnum, to approve the retirements of Allison Greier, Jim Utermarck, and Sarah Chambers effective June 30, 2024. Motion passed on a 5-0 vote.

B. Resignation

A motion was offered by Farnum, seconded by Haler, to approve the resignation of April Miranda effective immediately. Motion passed on a 5-0 vote.

C. Hirings

A motion was offered by Haler, seconded by Farnum, to approve the hiring of Danielle Hall as paraprofessional - Step 1. Motion passed on a 5-0 vote.

A motion was offered by Krahmer, seconded by Nauman, to approve the hiring of Heather Thomas as Elementary Education - Reading/Math Specialist for the 2023-2024 school year. Motion passed on a 5-0 vote.

A motion was offered by Farnum, seconded by Krahmer, to go into closed session at 6:02 PM. Motion passed on a 5-0 vote.

A motion was offered by Krahmer seconded by Farnum to come out of closed session at 6:54 PM. Motion passed on a 5-0 vote.

X. Adjournment

Motioned by Farnum, and seconded by Krahmer to adjourn at 6:55 PM. Motion passed on a 5-0 vote.
