With profound respect and admiration, we honor the life of James (Jim) E. Rucks, 87, born on Jan. 21, 1937, in Truman, who passed away on Feb. 6, 2024.

Known for his dedication, loyalty and support, Jim was a trusted friend to those who had the privilege of knowing him. He was a devoted family man, who along with his wife, were successful business owners of Rucks Cabinets & Doors from 1971 to 2006.

As a longtime resident of Lake Havasu City, Ariz., since 1971, he was a proud member of Mount Olive Lutheran Church, London Bridge Rotary and Jaycees. His loyalty and support were unwavering and his love for his family was the cornerstone of his life. A man of varied interests, Jim enjoyed golfing, boating, square dancing and traveling across the country in their RV. Jim was a collector of everything eagles and enjoyed sharing a drink with family and friends.

Jim is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, DeLores; daughters, Dawn (Matt) Rossman and Robin (Criss) Morgan; granddaughters, Amanda and Sarah (Aaron); great-grandson, Conrad, who is on the way; and sisters, Mary Ann (Ron), Myrna (Greg) and Kris (Mark). He is preceded in death by his parents Mervin and Sylvia Rucks; son, Tharen; and sisters, Bonnie and Charlene.
