On Feb. 27, 1950, LeNore was united in marriage to Leonard Wendt at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Fairmont. Together the couple made their home on the Wendt Family Farm in Waverly Township and was blessed with four children, Clayton, Lauralee, Jennifer and Christopher. Family was the most important thing to LeNore and she loved being able to stay home and raise her children. Later in life, LeNore worked at the Truman Lutheran Retirement Home where she enjoyed her time with the staff and residents.

LeNore was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Fraser Township where she was very active as a Sunday school teacher, Vacation Bible School teacher and was a member of the choir, ladies aid and a variety of committees. LeNore loved reading, especially anything that was true such as true crime, history and biographies. She also loved animals. Her greatest enjoyment in life was being with her family and she loved babysitting her grandchildren and the grandchildren adored her right back.
