Ramona Burns

Ramona Burns (nee Buhmann), 59, of Cedar Lake, Ind., passed away Nov. 30, 2023. She was the loving mother of James (Stephanie) Burns, Joseph Burns and Kyle (Jessica) Burns; cherished grandmother of Paige, Eric and Caden; beloved daughter of Darrell and the late Janice Buhmann; dearest sister of David Buhmann, Robin (Charlie) Miller, Ranette (Jim) Travnik, Doug (Chila) Buhmann, Rhonda Buhmann and the late Roxane Engel; dear daughter-in-law of Marge Burns; and fond aunt of many nieces and nephews. Ramona is also survived by her beloved dog, Wrigley. She was a longtime employee of Reliance Dental. Ramona was an avid Chicago Cubs fan and devoted member of Holy Shepherd Lutheran Church.

A visitation and funeral is set for Saturday, Dec. 16, from 10 a.m. until the time of service at 11 a.m., at Trinity Lutheran Church, in Truman. Interment will be in East Chain Lutheran Church Cemetery, Blue Earth. Online condolences can be left at www.zahariafamilyfuneral.com.
