Vickie Lee (Kesler) Berhow was born on July 10, 1952, to Ray and Lois (Scheef) Kesler in Fairmont. She graduated from Fairmont High School and then attended Jackson Vocational School.
Vickie was united in marriage to Paul Berhow on Oct. 6, 1969, in Fairmont. After their marriage they made their home in Truman. They were blessed with two sons, Nathan and Nick. Vickie worked for the telephone company and also did house cleaning.
Vickie was a member of Grace Lutheran Church and taught Sunday school. She loved going for motorcycle rides with Paul on his Harley Davidson. Vickie had a special fondness for animals, particularly horses and stray cats whom she lovingly fed and cared for. Her love for nature was evident in her cherished memories of fishing at the cabin, where evenings were spent around a warm bonfire, sharing stories and laughter with loved ones. These gatherings were a highlight of her life, a time when she could connect with family and friends in the beauty of the outdoors. Vickie also had a special place in her heart for Florida, where she enjoyed many trips filled with sunshine and adventure. She was also a devoted Minnesota Vikings fan.
Those left to cherish her memory include her sons, Nathan Berhow of Anchorage, Alaska, and Nick Berhow of Sherburn; granddaughter, Madison Berhow; siblings, Val (Perry) Berhow of Fairmont, Voni Eakins of Champlin, Vana Origer of Billings, Mont., and Vance (Lynn) Kesler of Roseville; and other extended family.
She was preceded in death by her father, Ray (Buster) Kesler; husband, Paul Berhow (2019); and parents-in-law, Arva and Ardis Berhow.
