Arnie Krenz

Arnie Krenz, beloved husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, passed away peacefully at his home on July 15, 2025. A celebration of his life was 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 22, at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Truman with the Rev. Timothy Chase officiating. Visitation will be from 5–7 p.m. Monday, July 21, at Zaharia Funeral Home and continue one hour before the service at the church. Online condolences can be left at www.zahariafamilyfuneral.com.
Arnie was born on Nov. 30, 1942, to Carl and Ruth (Kneeland) Krenz of rural Lewisville. Arnie married Janice Glienke on Feb. 3, 1962. He owned and operated a carpentry business for many years. He enjoyed traveling, spending time with family and watching his grandchildren participate in their activities. 
Arnie is survived by his wife, Janice, of Truman; sons, Darrin (Emily) of Minneapolis and Todd (Molly) of Lakeville; grandchildren, Gage (Devyn) Farmer, Zakry (Brandi) Krenz, Korbin Krenz, Konnor Krenz (Justin) and Riley Krenz; great-granddaughter, Lindy Krenz; as well as many other extended family and friends. 
He is preceded in death by his parents; and brothers, Dwayne, Lester and Richard. 
In lieu of flowers, donations to UHD Hospital Hospice would be appreciated.
